AmmA Means Mother
A film shot in Sri Lanka late Winter 2005. Nanadrani and her Family raise children orphaned by Ethnic War and Poverty as the take on yet more children, from camps of refugees who've survived the Tsunami of Dec. 26th, 2004. That killed 300,000 people in one night, 30,000 in Sri Lanka alone.
I was impressed by the efficient manner of the Sri Lankan government's ability to organize, and doing food relief with Paul Turner and a few very special people was the adventure of a lifetime.

AmmA Means Mother: Directors Cut
looking at my watch~ Ceylon, as many there prefer to call it by its previous name, has its own time. The island's name before that was Serendib~ which is the origin of the word Serendipity. I must be honest and say that I found it to be uncannily so. People and objects both appeared at the right time, all the time.
